BOSTON – University at Albany junior attackman Silas Richmond has been named the America East's Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
 
Richmond led all Great Danes in scoring this past week, scoring five goals in UAlbany's win against Drexel and two goals in the team's setback against #17 Penn. He added an assist in both games for a total of nine points throughout the week to go along with three ground balls.
 
Richmond currently leads the conference in assists per game (3.0) and points per game (5.33). He ranks seventh in goals per game at 2.33.
 
Before the season, Richmond was named Preseason All-American Honorable Mention by both Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse.
