Short Story: The University at Albany men's basketball program took on New Hampshire Saturday night coming away with a 61-57 win against the Wildcats.

Damon Strand] made a big 3, I think DeMarr made some big plays, they responded, but we found a way to win the game…it's a really good road win for us."
Key Stats:
- DeMarr Langford Jr. led the Great Danes offense with a career-high 23 points, shooting 9-12 (75.0%) while going 5-6 (83.3%) at the line and a career-high 11 rebounds (4 off – 7 def) with two steals and one block.
- Amir Lindsey went 2-3 beyond the arc.
- Amar'e Marshall tied Langford Jr. for a team-high 5-6 at the free throw line.
- Kacper Klaczek was a problem for the Wildcats blocking three shots!
- UAlbany shot 22-52 (42.3%) from the field, recorded three shots beyond the arc, and 14 -18 (77.8%) at the charity line.
How it Happened:
- New Hampshire (UNH) recorded the first basket of the game 45 seconds in to take a 2-0 lead.
- UAlbany would then follow up with a 10-4 run and lead 10-6 at the 15:57 mark thanks to four points from Amar'e Marshall.
- UNH would answer with a 6-2 run making it 12-10 at 12:11.
- As the Great Danes led 15-10, a 14-2 run by the Wildcats saw UNH take its first lead since the opening basket, 24-17, with 5:24 left in the half before Justin Neely would break the streak off a jumper-making it 24-19.
- A free throw from Marshall and three from Amir Lindsey would bring UAlbany's deficit back to one, 24-24 with 2:16 to go before the half.
- The Wildcats closed out the final two minutes of the first with a 4-0 run to lead 28-23 entering halftime.
- Lindsey would open the final 20 minutes of play with a three before the Wildcats answered with a three of their own to make it 31-26 49 seconds in.
- With 14:59 on the clock, The Great Danes brought their deficit to three, 35-32 highlighted by two free throws and a layup from DeMarr Langford Jr.
- As both teams traded baskets UAlbany trailed 43-37 with 9:42 to play before the Great Danes rallied off an 11-0 run to take the 48-43 lead with 5:36 to play in the half.
- A 7-2 run from the Wildcats would have UNH tie it back at 50-50.
- Two free throws from Amar'e Marshall and four points from Langford Jr. including a huge dunk brought the Great Danes back ahead 56-50 with 1:57 to play.
- The Wildcats attempted to claw back into the game hitting a big three with 23 seconds left to trail 60-57.
- Kacper Klaczek made one free throw to close out the game as the Great Danes would take away the win, 61-57.
