Timo Jansen off an assist from
Ander Castillo.
As the Purple and Gold prepare for what's ahead, Jansen is currently the team's leader in points with eight from three goals and one assist with 13 shots, eight shots on goal, 0.615 shots on goal percentage, and 0.231 shooting percentage. Behind Jansen in points is Castillo whose three goals and one assist give him seven points from a team-high 26 shots, 13 shots on goal, and a 0.500 shots on goal percentage. Of field players,

Daniel Shannon (2-2-0) and
Parker Kump (0-3-1) have split time with Shannon leading the total on-field time with 398:51 in which he has recorded a 0.760 save percentage and 1.35 goals against average from six goals allowed and 19 saves. Kump meanwhile has allowed seven goals with 10 saves for a 1.96 goals against average and 0.588 save percentage.
Looking at Rhode Island:
Rhode Island is coming off a week that saw the Rams go 0-1-1 with a 1-1 tie against Central Connecticut State on Sept. 14 followed by a 2-0 loss to VCA on Sept. 20. To this point in the season, URI has scored seven goals, allowing four while tallying 72 shots and 10.3 shots per game.
Patrick Gryczewski leads the Rams with five points, two goals, and one assist from nine shots, four on goal while Brandon Bermingham and Joan Sanchis both have tallied four points from two goals. Bermingham currently leads the team with 18 shots, seven on goal.
Of field players, Nikos Clarke-Tosczak has spent a total time of 630 minutes on the pitch, the most of any other Ram, while recording one assist and two shots.
In goal, Edu Rodriguez (3-1-1) has started in five of the team's seven matches and has allowed three goals while making 26 saves in 450 minutes of play for a 0.60 goals against average and 0.897 save percentage,
Looking at UMass Lowell:
The River Hawks will first host Northeastern on Tuesday, Sept. 24 before welcoming in the Great Danes for both team's America East Opener. UMass Lowell so far has recorded 15 goals, while allowing 12 from its opponents. In terms of shots, the River Hawks have recorded 121 total with 52 shots on goal for a 0.430 shots-on-goal percentage while accumulating 18 total yellow cards.
Guillermo Franés-Poquet is the River Hawks leader in points with seven from three goals one assist from 17 shots and seven shots on goal for 0.412 shots on goal percentage and 0.176 shooting percentage. Behind him is Oliver Holmstrom with six points from three goals and 11 shots with six shots on goal for 0.545 shots on goal percentage along with three game-winning goals.
Oscar Perez leads UMass Lowell's field players with 630 minutes spent on the pitch each. Perez has tallied a total of six shots for one goal.
JR Gawel (4-1-2) has been the River Hawks primary keeper starting seven matches having allowed 11 goals against while making 28 saves for a 1.57 goals against average and 0.718 save percentage. In total, he has faced 75 shots.
