Home Sweet Home
In the midst of a three match skid, UAlbany men's soccer will look to get back on track as they return to Bob Ford Field at Tom and Mary Casey Stadium. Coming off two contests from last week which saw the Great Danes record a total of just one goal, the Purple and Gold will look to turn the tempo around on Thursday night in what will need to be a continued team effort.

Timo Jansen, Ivar Orri Gissurarson and Pedro Lucas still led the Great Danes this season with one goal each while Christos Efstathiou and Lucas Watt have each been accredited an assist. Ander Castillo's nine shots with five shots on goal for a 0.556 are still a team high entering the fifth contest of the season. In a consistent effort Saad Faiz has fired three shots with three shots on goal for a 1.000 SOG%, the most recorded shots of any player who holds a 1.000 SOG%.

In goal, Daniel Shannon (1-1-0) has started out the season as UAlbany's primary net minder making three starts with 218:51 minutes of play while making 14 saves for a 1.64 goals against average and 0.776 save percentage. However, in the squads most previous contest at St. John's (Sept. 1), Parker Kump (0-2-0) received the start in net, where he has been since he subbed in for Shannon the match prior nearly halfway through the teams contest against No.25 Seton Hall. So far with two appearances and one start, Kump has recorded four saves, allowing four goals for a 2.55 goals against average and .500 save percentage.
