DeMarr Langford Jr.

It'll make us stronger, and we'll refer to this when we get in another one- or two-point game with a minute left. We've already been there. We got the experience, we got the poise that we need, and we know what to do."
Key Stats:
- Amar'e Marshall led the Great Danes with 18 points from five steals and two assists.
- Langford Jr. was the team's leader in rebounds with six while scoring 16.
- Justin Neely was clutch going 6-7 at the free throw line.
- Both Marshall and Klaczek hit two threes for the Great Danes.
- UAlbany shot 23-48 (47.9%) from the field, 5-19 (26.3%) from the three and 16-23 (69.6%) from the free throw line.
How it Happened:
- UAlbany Started off the game on a 12-3 run highlighted by two threes from Amar'e Marshall with 16:21 to play in the first.
- Nearly four minutes later Marshall, Justin Neely and DeMarr Langford Jr. would all contribute to extending the Great Danes lead to 18-5.
- An and one from Neely along with layups from Byron Joshua and Kheni Briggs allowed the Purple and Gold to take a 26-10 lead over the Roos with 8:03 remaining in the half.
- The Roos cut their deficit to two points converting five of their next six shoots from beyond the arc to making it a 26-24 UAlbany lead with 4:51 to play in the first.
- Five points from Marshall off three free throws and a layup helped the Great Danes keep their lead at 34-31 entering the half.
- Seven successful threes compiled from Aaron Reddish, DeMarr Langford Jr. and Neely helped UAlbany remain ahead by two, 43-41 with 13:54 to go in the second.
- Within the same minute, a three from Kacper Klaczek followed directly by a dunk from Langford Jr. increased the Great Danes lead to 48-43.
- A seven-point run would help extend UAlbany ahead of the Roos 58-50 with 7:16 to play.
- A Kansas City erased its deficit following an 11-0 run to take a 61-58 lead as 3:35 remained on the clock.
- Tied 63-63, Neely hit two free throws to put the Great Danes ahead 65-57 with 0:29 to go.
- A Roos layup tied the game again with 0:10 remaining as the Great Danes drove down the court and Langford Jr. grabbed his own rebound to put it back making the second chance points as time expired giving the Great Danes a 67-65 buzzer beater win.
UP NEXT: The Great Danes will continue compete in the final day of the Puerto Rico Clasico on Sunday, November 24 when they take on the American Eagles at 12:00pm.
