ALBANY, N.Y. - The University at Albany softball team is set to announce the 2024 schedule.
The Great Danes will kick off 2024 in North Carolina at NC State at the Wolfpack Classic. UAlbany will see five games in the Tar Heel State before heading to the Spring Games at Madeira Beach for the third year in a row.
With two additional tournaments on the schedule, the Great Danes will visit Mount St Mary's and UMBC before returning to action in New York.
Hosting their first opponent of the season, UAlbany welcomes Army for a midweek doubleheader towards the end of March. After their first conference series at UMass Lowell, the Great Danes will return home to host UMass for a second midweek doubleheader.
Closing out the month of March, UAlbany will head to Maine.
Throughout the month of April, the Great Danes will host UMBC and Binghamton while visiting Bryant and UMBC for America East conference series. On top of league action, the fourth month of the year will bring five midweek games - doubleheaders at Siena and against CCSU and a single game at Providence.
In the final week of regular-season action, the Great Danes will head to Colgate for a doubleheader before hosting Maine the first weekend of May.
