BOSTON - The University at Albany's women's volleyball's
Zosia Szczotkiewicz was named the America East Setter of the Week, announced Tuesday.
A native of Walcz, Poland, Szczotkiewicz totaled 65 assists to average 9.3 per set over the three-match weekend. The junior setter added three service aces in the two matches she played.
In a four-set victory over George Mason, Szczotkiewicz notched 42 assists to set the team up for a .310 hitting percentage.
This award is the second-straight weekly award for both the team and Szczotkiewicz.
UAlbany is scheduled to return home to host Siena on Wednesday (Sept. 20) at 7 pm.
