BOSTON – University at Albany jumper Leann Nicholas has been named America East Women's Field Performer of the Week, the Conference announced Wednesday.  She was named alongside three UMass Lowell competitors: Joe Young, James Kotowski, and Emily Sessa.
 
Nicholas, a sophomore from Farmingdale, N.Y., placed fifth in the Championship division of the women's' triple jump at Penn Relays, recording a mark of 41-10.00.  It was her second-best performance in the event of the season.
 
UAlbany hosts the 2023 America East Outdoor Championships starting May 6.
