Location: Varsity Field in Albany, New York

Records: UAlbany (4-21-1, 1-10 America East) | UMass Lowell (10-21, 4-7 America East)

Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team collected a walk off win over UMass Lowell on Saturday afternoon, 5-4. Jason Bottari delivered the game-winning hit – a bloop single to shallow center to end it. The Great Danes enjoyed solid pitching performances from Matthew Mariano, Ryan Pittz, and Owen Birkman.

Head Coach Jon Mueller: "Today was good to certainly get the monkey off our back. Matthew Mariano gave us a great start, Ryan Pittz and Owen Birkman both looked good at the end of the game. Ryan really pitched out of some trouble he got into. Offensively, we did enough. We had some opportunities to break it open early and we didn't. It's a huge game tomorrow, it gives us the opportunity to get back into things. We bring a lot of momentum into tomorrow with Dylan [Banner] on the mound."
