Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team dropped the rubber game of the weekend series to UMass Lowell, 11-6.
Head Coach Jon Mueller: "We really struggled in the beginning of the game and dug ourselves into a big hole. We battled back in the middle, but it wasn't enough today. We'll move on to Tuesday and get ready for Bryant next weekend."

- Luke Filippi led the offense with two hits and two RBIs.
- Jason Bottari and Will Binder each finished with two hits each, Binder added a walk and an RBI.

How it Happened:
- Dylan Banner started on the mound for the Great Danes, Nick DiRito started for the River Hawks.
- UMass Lowell struck first in the opening inning with a three-run home run to right field from Alex Luccini. Later in the inning, Ryan Proto doubled to right center field to score Trey Brown, making it 4-0.
- In the second inning, UMass Lowell made it an 8-0 game. Fritz Genther doubled to right field to score Robert Gallagher. Alex Luccini then doubled to score Gerry Siracusa and Genther. Proto then flied out to center field to score Alex Luccini, to make the score 8-0 River Hawks.
- Midway through the second, Thomas Quinn rotated in at pitcher.
- In the top of the third, UMass Lowell's Siracusa scored from third on a throwing error from the UAlbany catcher, making it 9-0.
- UMass Lowell's Genther hit a home run to right center to push the River Hawks lead to 10-0 in the top of the fifth.
- Will Feil brought home Chris Fisher on a fielder's choice in the bottom of the fifth to get the Great Danes on the board.
- Michael DiMartino took the mound for UAlbany in the top of the sixth.
- UMass Lowell's Matt Tobin brought home Ryan Proto on an RBI single in the sixth to make it 11-1.
- UAlbany's Luke Filippi singled to right center with the bases loaded to score Owen Silliman and Will Binder in the bottom of the sixth, making it 11-3.
- UMass Lowell's Shane Bogil took the mound in the bottom of the sixth.
- Nicholas Jessen took the mound for UAlbany to start the seventh.
- In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases loaded, Micheal Simes took the mound for the River Hawks.
- In the bottom of the seventh, UAlbany scored three runs. Binder walked with the bases loaded before Dan Tauken brought home Feil on a fielder's choice. Finally, Silliman singled to center field to score Jason Bottari.
- Owen Birkman took the mound for UAlbany at the top of the ninth.
- LJ Keevan took the mound for the River Hawks in the bottom of the ninth inning.
