ALBANY, N.Y. - The UAlbany women's basketball team will return home to host Marist for this year's Toys for Tots game on Saturday.
 
In accordance with the theme, Toys for Tots, any fan who donates a toy will receive a five-dollar ticket voucher.
 
Chalk Talks are back! Ahead of the game on Saturday, all fans will be welcome to join head coach 
Colleen Mullen in conversation. This weekend's Chalk Talk will be located in the GDAC corner of the arena right as doors open at 1:00 pm.

HEAD COACH COLLEEN MULLEN
"Marist is a well-balanced team that has many offensive threats. They have a strong inside presence and we will need to lock down the paint for 40 minutes. Offensively, we want to have sharp execution with consistent pace and ball movement. We have to win all the 50/50 plays and play UA team defense."
 
LAST TIME OUT
	- Defeating CCSU, 56-37, UAlbany earned a road victory on Wednesday.
 
	- Graduate student Helene Haegerstrand and senior Kayla Cooper shared top-scoring honors with 14 points each.
 
	- Cooper also led the team in rebounds with 12, including five offensive boards, and held a team-high three blocks.
 
	- Graduate student Sarah Karpell tallied a team-best four assists while junior Lilly Phillips totaled two steals.
 
 
GREAT DANE REWIND
	- UAlbany has started its season with six wins and two losses.
 
	- The Great Danes opened their season with a down-to-the-buzzer win over Merrimack (Nov. 6) before falling to Fordham in a one-possession loss on November 10 and hosting Division III opponent Sarah Lawrence for a 91-point victory (Nov. 13).
 
	- On a record-breaking night against the Gryphons, the Great Danes notched the highest single-game point total (118), single-half point total (61), and single-game assist total (37) in program history.
 
	- After UAlbany took to the road to defeat St. Bonaventure, 66-56, on November 16, head coach Colleen Mullen and the Great Danes defeated Cornell (Nov. 22) for the first time in Mullen's tenure.
 
	- UAlbany fell to fourth-ranked Stanford in California (Nov. 26) before besting Siena in the Grand Opening of the Broadview Center, 76-58, on December 2.
 
	- Most recently, the Great Danes took down CCSU on the road on December 6.
 
	- Senior Kayla Cooper leads the Great Danes with 13.1 points per game and 14 steals.
 
	- Freshman Deja Evans holds a team-best 7.5 rebounds per game and nine blocks.
