BOSTON - The University at Albany women's basketball team has been picked to finish fourth in the America East Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league announced Monday. 
 
PRESEASON COACHES' POLL
Vermont was named the preseason favorite with a nearly unanimous first-place vote for 63 points. Maine was picked second with 55 points, including the remaining two first-place votes. Bryant rounded out the top three with 46 points.
 
The Great Danes, selected fourth, were close behind the Bulldogs with 42 points. NJIT earned 37 points for fifth place.
 
There was a three-point difference for sixth, seventh, and eighth place. Binghamton won the battle with 26 points; New Hampshire (24) and UMBC (23) followed. UMass Lowell rounded out the conference with eight points.

The America East also released the Preseason All-Conference Team for the 2025-26 season.

A LOOK AHEAD
UAlbany is set to begin the 2025-26 slate on November 4 at home against Marist. The Great Danes will play six home games, including the Albany Cup, and seven road games, before beginning conference play against Vermont at Broadview Center on January 1. UAlbany will close the regular season on the road at New Hampshire on February 28.
