BOSTON – Katie Iocca from the women's cross country team has earned America East All-Academic honors, the conference announced Wednesday.  Iocca was one of 12 women's athletes to earn the distinction for the 2023 season.
 
Iocca, a junior from Oakdale, N.Y., has earned a 3.93 GPA studying Mathematics.  This is her second All-Academic honor for cross country, and third overall.  Iocca was, on average, UAlbany's third-best runner in 2023, and finished the year with season best marks of 19:17.14 for 5K and 22:14.5 for 6K.
 
With their 2023 season completed, Iocca and her cross country teammates will shift their attention to the start of the 2023-24 indoor track & field season.
