GREAT DANE REWIND
- UAlbany opened the season with an explosive 5-2 victory over Northeastern. It was the Great Danes' first win in the all-time series against the Huskies.
- Facing two nationally-ranked teams - #22 Ohio State (8/28) and #11 Penn State (9/3), UAlbany saw its first two losses.
- Most recently, the Great Danes went 2-0 on the weekend with wins against Colgate (9/9) and Cornell (9/11).
- After tallying three goals and one assist in two games (Cornell and Colgate), sophomore Alison Smisdom was named the America East Offensive Player of the Week.
- Smisdom leads the team with six goals and 14 points.
- Graduate student Elaina Burchell and freshman Sophia Schoonmaker follow with three goals and seven points each.
- Senior goalie Hannah Mangan has started four games. In 251 minutes, she owns a 1.91 goals against average and .714 save percentage. Sophomore goalie Lara Behn follows with two starts and 120 minutes. She has notched a 3.00 goals against average and .500 save percentage.
ABOUT YALE
- Seeing four contests in 2022, the Bulldogs own a 3-1 record.
- After falling in their season opener at Wagner (9/2), they defeated Hofstra (9/4), Sacred Heart (9/9), and Drexel (9/11).
- Ellie Barlow and Lily Ramsey lead the team with two goals each.
- Ashley Kim follows with one goal and one assist for three points.
- Alissa Wong is the top assister with two.
- Luanna Summer has served in goal for all four contests, tallying a 1.25 goals against average and a .783 save percentage.
SERIES AGAINST THE BULLDOGS
- The Great Danes lead the all-time series, 6-0.
- Their most recent meeting was a 2-1 victory in 2016.
