Ray Weber pitched six scoreless innings while Cregg Scherrer struck out five in three innings of relief work. Associate Head Coach Jeff Kaier filled in as the team's skipper for the game, helping lead the Great Danes to victory with Head Coach Jon Mueller out due to personal reasons.

Associate Head Coach Jeff Kaier: "We threw the ball well today. Ray Weber was outstanding and Cregg Scherrer was great out of the bullpen. We defended at a high level and were able to do just enough offensively."
