BOSTON – A pair of victories at the Great Dane Classic last week resulted in the University at Albany track & field program landing both America East weekly field awards.  Robert Blue was named for the men and Ludith Campos was named for the women.  The track awards were given to Binghamton's Dan Schaffer and Emily Mackay.
 
Blue, a senior jumper from Harrison, N.Y., won the triple jump at the Great Dane Classic in a season-best 50-02.75, leading a Great Dane sweep of the top two places at the meet.
 
Campos, a senior thrower from Mount Vernon, N.Y., competed twice last week.  She started at the Millrose Games on Thursday, finishing third in the weight throw with a mark of 59-06.00.  She followed up her Millrose performance with a victory in the same event the next day at the Great Dane Classic, where she recorded a personal-best mark of 63-01.25.
 
Both Blue and Campos were named weekly field performers for the second-consecutive week.
