SHORT STORY: Sierra Anderson highlighted the day by breaking her own freshman record in the hammer throw, Friday.
KEY NOTES
- Sierra Anderson once again broke the freshman record in the hammer throw at the RPI throwing cages. This time, she broke her own set two weeks ago. Anderson's mark, 54.36m (178-4), moves her up to eighth all-time in the women's hammer throw.
- As a team, UAlbany recorded 19 personal records - 10 on the women's side, including all three 800m runners, and nine on the men's side.
- Additionally, UAlbany recorded seven event wins - Victoria Daniel (100mH), Karen Augustin (400mH), and Anderson (HT) for the women and Maxim Kruk (DT), Frankie Gonzalez (SP), and Brooks Robson (LJ & TJ) for the men.
