Short Story: The UAlbany golf team got its fall season off to a great start on Sunday, defeating Siena in the Crosstown Challenge by a score of 284 to 327.
Coach Cashman-McSween: “I'm very proud of the way we came out of the gate today. Setting a program record 18 hole score of 284 was amazing and the exact way we needed to start the season off. It was very exciting to see Helga and Roni shoot even par rounds of 70 today, and it was especially impressive that Roni did it in her first round as a Great Dane! Heading into Dartmouth next weekend I think we are playing with a lot of confidence and definitely excited to go back and defend our title! I think there are so many great things in store for this team this year!”
