Junior Katie MacCallum led the squad with two goals, while seniors Dana Bozek and Baylee Burghardt, junior Cosima Rocktaeschel and sophomore Elaina Burchell added to the scoresheet with one goal apiece.
Led by senior goalkeeper Melissa Nealon, the Great Danes have their shutout opponents in back-to-back matches. Over that two-game span, UAlbany has outscored its opponents 10-0.
The women in purple got off to a fast start, scoring half of their goals in the opening period. Bozek got things started with a tally at 5:16, before Burchell doubled her squad's lead with a goal 45 second later, making it 2-0. Burghardt soon wrapped up the first quarter scoring when she found the back of the cage at 9:06.
The Great Danes extended their lead to 4-0 in the second quarter behind a goal from MacCallum. The junior later made it a five-goal game with a score at 39:28 in the third.
UAlbany scored its sixth and final goal with four minutes to go in the fourth quarter when MacCallum connected with Racktaeschel who sent one past the Brown goalkeeper and into the back of the net.
