Albany, N.Y. — The second-seeded UAlbany volleyball team is set to begin its journey for the program's seventh America East Championship. The Great Danes will face #3 New Hampshire in the semifinals on Friday at 4 p.m.

Senior Akuabata Okenwa and Chloe Evering are leading the squad with 285 and 215 kills, respectively. Senior Nicole Otero ranks second in the conference with 4.98 digs per set, while Danielle Tedesco and Courtney O'Connell are tallying 85 and 80 blocks a piece.
Scouting New Hampshire
The Wildcats split their last two regular season games. New Hampshire took down UMBC in five sets, 3-2, before falling at the Great Danes, 3-1, on Nov. 9. Gabri Olhava is pacing all players with 317 kills and 73 total blocks. Libera Emily Tanski is recording 5.42 digs per set, while Emma Patlovich owns 963 assists.
Last Time vs. New Hampshire
The Great Danes swept the two-game series against the Wildcats this season. UAlbany won the first meeting 3-2 in Durham, N.H. on Oct. 14, before clinching the #2 seed with a 3-1 victory on Nov. 11 in University Gym.
Digging Her Way to the Top
Nicole Otero earned her 1,500th career dig on Sept. 7 against Western Illinois, becoming just the fourth Great Dane to reach the milestone. Her 1,856 career digs rank third all-time at UAlbany.
