Short Story: Senior Nicole Otero earned a team-best 16 digs and added three assists but the UAlbany volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to UMass Lowell on Senior Night. Otero, the team's lone senior, was honored in a special pregame ceremony.

• Three-time America East All-Conference selection

• 40-8 America East record
• Once Appearance in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship.

By the Numbers:

• Chloe Evering paced all Great Danes with 10 kills.
• Andersen Vaughan recorded a game-high 32 assists. The freshman added the kills and one service ace on the night.
• Otero (16), Charlotte Macken (13) and Anna Chalupa each totaled double-digit kills for UAlbany.

Game Notes:

• UMass Lowell's Kate Bilyeu totaled a match-high 14 kills.
• UAlbany finished the regular season with a 9-3 conference record. The Great Danes finished the regular season second in the league standings.
• Libero Lindsey Visvardis recorded 21 digs in the tilt to lead all players.
• The Great Danes are 12-5 all-time against UMass Lowell.

Up Next: UAlbany earned the second overall seed in the America East Tournament. The Great Danes will play third-seeded New Hampshire on Friday at 7 p.m. in the semifinals. This year's tournament will be held on the campus of Stony Brook.
