BOSTON-- Senior, Liz Snow earns UAlbany Softball's first America East weekly award for the 2017 season.
Snow had an outstanding performance in Maderia Beach, Florida this past weekend where the Great Danes went 4-2 overall. Snow led the Great Danes with a .529 batting average for the weekend, recording six doubles and five runs.
This is Snow's sixth time recognized with an America East Weekly Award, and her third Player of the Week selection. Her last selection was April 12, 2016 after a standout performance against UMBC where she went 2-3 with an RBI double and a homerun.
Snow holds multiple post-season honors including, First Team All-Conference (2014), Second Team All-Conference (2015-16), All-Rookie Team (2014), and Rookie of the Year (2014).
Liz Snow and UAlbany will return to the field March 3rd in Jacksonville, Florida at 12:15 p.m. against Mount St. Mary College.
