HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Saints started scoring nearly immediately with a three-run homer from Emma Petersen.
- Siena added five runs in the second inning and three runs in the third to take a 9-0 lead through three complete innings.
- The Great Danes tabbed three hits, one in each of the first three innings. Taylor Quinn hit an infield single in the first, Kasey Conn singled to right field in the second, and Sara Anderson doubled to right center in the third.
- Back-to-back hits from Sierra Roy and Jenny Nardelli drove in two runs in the bottom of the fourth.
- The Saints extended their lead to 10, 12-2, after the top of the fifth.
- UAlbany put four runners on base but was unable to score in the bottom of the fifth as Siena earned the five-inning win.
