- Hayley Wieczerzak pitched back-to-back strikeouts to open the game.
- In the bottom of the first, Katie Parisi singled up the middle, then scored on an error to put UAlbany on the board first.
- Mary Kate Murray took advantage and scored on a passed ball to put the Great Danes up 2-0 after one complete inning.
- Kaitlyn Parisi hit a double but was caught out trying to turn it into a triple in the bottom of the second.
- The Bulldogs found their momentum in the top of the third, scoring five runs, four of which came from two two-run homers.
- Julia Pike doubled in the bottom of the third but was unable to advance further.
- Bryant added two more runs to their total in the top of the fifth to extend their lead, 7-2.
- The game remained 7-2 in favor of the Bulldogs through the final two innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs tallied the first hit of the game before scoring an unearned run in the second.
- The Great Danes responded quickly with a triple from Katie Parisi in the bottom of the inning. Mary Kate Murray followed with a single to send Parisi home.
- The game remained locked at 1-1 through both the third and fourth innings.
- The Bulldogs added one run to pull ahead of UAlbany, 2-1, in the top of the fifth.
- Bryant retained their advantage and left two Great Danes in scoring position at the end of the sixth before adding a run in the top of the seventh.
- Sierra Roy and senior Deanna Grahek got on base with a single and a walk, respectively, to open the bottom of the seventh.
- After the Bulldogs recorded two outs, Taylor Quinn hit a double to right center to score pinch-runner sophomore Jenny Nardelli and Grahek and tie the game at three.
- Julia Pike followed with a walk-off home run to win the game for the Great Danes, 5-3.
