UAlbany Athletics Social Summer

ALBANY, N.Y. -- This summer, the University at Albany Athletic Department will be engaging fans through a new interactive social media campaign beginning today, June 27. The nine-week social media schedule will help keep Great Dane fans connected and engaged each day during the off-season.
 
The official UAlbany Athletics Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat accounts will post daily updates, photos, and fun content for fans to interact with and share. Visit our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages every morning to see the newest social event.
 
Here is the official 2016 Social Summer schedule:
 
Monday: Meme Monday
What better way to start off your Monday than with a smile? A new fun photo will be posted each Monday to Facebook and Instagram for fans to comment on. Leave your comments below each photo, and the best caption will be added to the photo at the end of the day.
 
Tuesday: Takeover Tuesday
This day will feature our recently released Snapchat account. A representative from the athletics department will “take over” the Snapchat account and give a unique behind the scenes look at UAlbany Athletics. To access the UAlbany Athletics Snapchat account, simply download Snapchat on your phone and follow our handle – @ualbany_sports
 
Wednesday: What's New Wednesday
Interested in seeing what's new with UAlbany Athletics? If so, make sure to stay tuned on Wednesday's throughout the summer as we preview the new and innovative experiences coming to UAlbany Athletics in 2016-17.
 
Thursday: Throwback Thursday
On Thursday's throughout the summer, we will post some of the “Great Moments” in UAlbany Athletics history using hashtag #tbt on Twitter and Instagram
 
Friday: Fun Fact Friday
How well do you know your Great Dane Athletics trivia? Each Friday we will post a Q&A about the facilities, coaches, teams, and student-athletes who have helped make UAlbany great! Fans are encouraged to submit their answers on Facebook or Instagram and the correct answer will be posted at the end of the day.
