Evan Singletary Tabbed America East Men's Basketball Player of the Week

BOSTON, MASS. – University at Albany men's basketball junior point guard Evan Singletary was named the America East Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. This is the third-straight week a member of the Purple & Gold has earned the honor.

In a 2-0 week for the Danes, Singletary went 7-for-11 (.636) from three-point range. He hit a crucial three with less than two minutes to go in a 69-59 victory against UMass Lowell on Saturday night. Singletary averaged 16.5 points for the week.

In an 11-0 conference start for UAlbany, Singletary is averaging 13.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. He has recorded double figures in seven of his 11 contests, and is averaging 36 minutes per game.
