ALBANY, N.Y. – Looking to tie the longest all-time regular season America East winning streak, University at Albany men's basketball (16-7, 11-0 AE) visits Binghamton (4-22, 3-8 AE) on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. The Danes are in the hunt for their seventh straight road victory in Vestal.

LAST TIME OUT

Despite leading by as many as 17 points, UAlbany needed a late three from Evan Singletary to maintain the lead and take a 69-59 victory over UMass Lowell on Saturday, Feb. 7. The Danes earned the win in front of a sold out SEFCU Arena, their 11th win in a row for an undefeated 11-0 America East record. Sam Rowley recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Singletary scored 18 to lead UAlbany, while Ray Sanders dished out a career-best seven assists.

LAST WE MET

The Purple & Gold advanced to 4-0 in league play with a 73-58 win over Binghamton on Jan. 14. UAlbany men's basketball helped raise $12,000 during that game for the Cancer Council of South Australia Undies Run, set to take place the following Sunday. Four Danes scored in double figures, led by Peter Hooley (16) on 4-for-8 from three-point range. Sam Rowley added 14, Mike Rowley scored 13, and Ray Sanders tallied 11 points. Evan Singletary dished out seven assists. Will Brown's squad committed just seven turnovers, and out-scored the Bearcats off the bench 24-6 in his 200th career win.

SERIES HISTORY

UAlbany has taken the last nine meetings dating back to the 2010-11 season, and posts a 15-13 edge in the league series. The SUNY rivals have only met in the America East Tournament once since joining the league, during the 2005 AE Tournament.

LET'S GO STREAKING

In a 11-0 league start, UAlbany has its highest regular season win total in league play since 2006-07. The Danes are one of just six Division I unbeatens in the nation, and have won 11 straight to rank fifth nationally in longest winning streak. The Purple & Gold is fourth in consecutive league-play wins with 14, dating back to last season's America East Tournament. Will Brown's squad has not lost a league game at home since Feb. 1, 2014. On the road, the Danes have won six straight to rank sixth nationally, tied with Kentucky and two games behind Virginia. UAlbany ranks seventh nationally in free throw percentage, its fifth straight week in the national top-10.

SINGLETARY TABBED AMERICA EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK

In a 2-0 week for the Danes, Singletary went 7-for-11 (.636) from three-point range. He hit a crucial three with less than two minutes to go in a 69-59 victory against UMass Lowell on Saturday night. Singletary averaged 16.5 points for the week. In an 11-0 conference start for UAlbany, Singletary is averaging 13.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
