BUFFALO, N.Y. – UAlbany will conclude its 2014 campaign with a matchup against a fellow State University of New York team, heading west to play Buffalo on Saturday, November 29th at 1 p.m., with the match being featured on ESPN3.

UAlbany earned a trip to the America East title match last Saturday, falling to host New Hampshire in four to come into the match at 10-16 overall and 7-5 in the America East.  Buffalo's two-match winning streak was snapped in the first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament after a 3-0 defeat to Western Michigan, entering Saturday at 16-15 and 6-10 in the league.

The two programs will meet for the first time since 2008.  UAlbany has won all three matches against Buffalo, last winning in three on September 5, 2008 in Albany.

After defeating Binghamton 3-1 for a berth in the America East title match, UAlbany fell to tournament host New Hampshire in four sets on Saturday.  Amanda Dolan hit .263 in the match with 13 kills and four blocks.  Laini Leindecker had a double-double with 16 kills and 11 digs, while Mikala McCauley got 41 assists and 19 digs.

A trio of UAlbany players was selected on the 2014 America East All-Conference Teams.  Leindecker earned First Team status, standing with 338 kills, 349 digs and 25 aces, each in the top ten of the league.  Viktoriia Stroilo was selected as Second Team with 491 digs and 17 aces, as was Dolan, who hit .260 with 239 kills and 104 blocks.

Saturday will mark the final match for the two UAlbany seniors, Stroilo and Sofia Furlong.

The Bulls will also play their final match of the year when they play UAlbany.  Two Bulls earned All-MAC recognition this season: junior outside hitter Tahleia Bishop earned All-MAC First Team is hitting .229 with 376 kills, averaging 4.13 per set, with 12 aces and 245 digs, while middle blocker Cassie Shado was selected to the MAC All-Freshman Team, hitting .287 with 130 kills and 78 blocks.
