Egg Harbor Township, N.J. - Lisa Agoglia tied for 28th individually with a two-day score of 167 to lead UAlbany to a 10th-place team finish at the ECAC Division I Women's Golf Championship held at Twisted Dune Golf Club on Sunday and Monday.
Agoglia shot a round of 83 on the first day of play and followed with a team-low score of 84 over the second round to lead the Great Danes. Rae Mahon was the second UAlbany finisher, shooting an 83 in round one and an 86 in round two for a two-day score of 169. Stephanie Klein, who tied for 38th individually, also carded an 83 on the first day of play, and wrapped up the two-day tournament with an 87 for a final score of 170. After leading the team with a score of 82 on day one, Annemarie Kissane shot an 89 on day two, finishing tied for 40th with a total score of 171. Alana Calmi rounded out the Great Dane golfers, shooting a two-round score of 186 (86-100), finishing 59th overall.
Sacred Heart's Carly Bergin was the individual medalist, shooting a two-round score of 148 (76-72), leading the Pioneers to a second place team finish. Dartmouth took the team title with a score of 611. The Big Green's Sarah Knapp and Heather Roland each shot a 150 to tie for second individually.
UAlbany will return to action on Sunday, Oct. 16 with a dual match against crosstown-rival Siena at Albany Country Club.
