Boston, Mass. - University at Albany's Kim Weltman has been selected as the America East Conference's women's tennis performer of the week for the second straight week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, April 3.
     Weltman went 2-0 in singles last week, posting a 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles over Sandy Wijeratne from Stony Brook. She then defeated Sacred Heart's Julianne Kasinow, 6-1, 6-2 also at No. 2. She is now 12-1 in singles matches during the spring season.
     The Great Danes' tennis team returns to action on Tuesday, April 17 at Siena.
