Philadelphia, Pa. -- UAlbany's Jenn Gurrant posted a personal-best mark of 19-feet, 0.25-inches to finish seventh in the women's eastern long jump at the 113th Penn Relays on Thursday, April 26 at Franklin Field. Gurrant's leap placed in her in the ECAC championship field on the second weekend in May.
Adanna Andrews ran the anchor leg on the women's 4x400-meter relay which also qualified for the ECAC meet in a time of 3:49.94, the second fastest in the program's history. Anisha Andrews, Ashley Vives and Zuliana Fontanes were also members of a group that finished second in their Penn Relays' heat.
Robbie Freeman ran a personal-best 14:32.13 in the Olympic Development men's 5,000-meter run. He placed 11th in the race, but qualified for the IC4A championship. Brenna Militello, the school record-holder in the women's high jump, tied for fourth in the eastern competition with a leap of 5-feet, 4.50-inches. Ricardo Estremera was 13th in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase by running 9:29.82.
