In addition, he won the coaches award by the winning the most points for his team, as the Great Danes captured the America East championship. At the conference's outdoor meet, Allstadt won the 10,000-meter run for the second year in a row as UAlbany garnered the team championship. He has placed first in the 10,000 in three of the last four years.
