At UAlbany
Catherine Cassidy joined the UAlbany women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach before the 2018-19 season.
Playing Career
Cassidy is a four-year letter winner for the Cardinal’s basketball team, serving as team captain for three years.
Prior to UAlbany
Cassidy joined UAlbany after three seasons as an assistant coach from 2015-2018 at Stonehill College. Under Cassidy’s guidance, the Skyhawk’s reach the Elite Eight for the first time in program history. During her tenure in Easton, Mass. Cassidy coached five different players to NE-10 All-Conference honors.
From 2013-2015, she was an assistant coach for Kinsboro Community College.
Personal
Cassidy graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2013 with a degree in Fitness & Wellness Leadership with a minor in Business and Marketing.
