Adanna Andrews is in her first season in the UAlbany track program as a volunteer assistant after spending the previous four seasons as a member of the team.
    Andrews won the 800-meter run in 2:11.28 at the America East Outdoor Championships and was a member of the 4x800-meter relay team at the America East Indoor Championships as a senior. She also holds the school-record in the 500-meter dash and was a member of seven school record-holding relay teams.
    An English major, the Yonkers, N.Y., native was a team captain as a junior and a senior.
