Jolene Johnston

Jolene Johnston begins her second year as an assistant on Trina Patterson’s staff.

A four-year letterwinner and captain at Siena College, Johnston averaged 13.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.7 steals as a senior. She was voted to the 2003-04 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference first team and was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Year.

Johnston, 24, spent time after graduation playing professionally for the Ponce Leonas in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and T71 in Dudelange, Luxembourg. She has also coached at several local summer camps and was the co-head coach at Scotia-Glenville High School in 2004-05.

A native of Clifton Park, N.Y., Johnston earned a B.A. in sociology from Siena in 2004.
