Cooper Meldrim joined UAlbany as an Assistant Director of Facilities and Event Management in September of 2023.
As Assistant Director of Facilities and Event Management, Meldrim is tasked with managing event budgets, implementing risk management strategies, supervising event staff, building supervisors and graduate assistants, and collaborating with key stakeholders to organize and execute special events. In addition, he serves as the lead facilities game day administrator for volleyball, field hockey, men's lacrosse, and baseball events, while assisting with various other athletics events.
Meldrim is a two-time graduate of SUNY Brockport, completing his undergraduate degree in Sports Management in 2021 and his graduate degree in Athletic Administration in 2023.
