Peter Allen

Peter Allen is in his first year as director of lacrosse operations. Allen earned three varsity letters as a member of the Syracuse University lacrosse program and played on the 1988 national championship squad.

Allen previously worked as an assistant coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2006. He has also coached on the youth level in Westchester County.

Prior to the coaching ranks, Allen worked for two international brokers. He was the head of derivatives broking for Gooch Financial Instruments. Allen also was headquartered in London for three years and Hong Kong for four years with Collins Stewart.

Syracuse went a perfect 15-0 in its national championship season, with Allen accounting for 12 goals and one assist. SU also reached the Final Four for fifth consecutive year in 1987 and posted a 14-3 record the previous year. Allen was an All-America attackman as a senior at Yorktown High School and played on the 1984 state championship squad.
