Leslie Moore joined the UAlbany athletics department as the assistant athletic director for facilities, scheduling and game operations in October 2016 and now serves as the department's senior associate athletic director for facilities and event management.
As senior associate athletic director for facilities and event management, Moore serves as a member of the department's leadership team and has sport supervisory responsibilities for volleyball and baseball. She provides strategic direction on capital projects, facility maintenance, gameday operations, and manages the scheduling of all athletic facilities including external group rentals.
Moore arrived at UAlbany after nine years at Bucknell University, serving as the Assistant Athletics Director for Operations and Events from 2011-16.  She was the on-site administrator for Bucknell's 20 varsity sports, was responsible for facility setup and breakdown plus hiring and training of event staff.  She also served as the championship manager for Patriot League Tournaments hosted on-campus.
Prior to Bucknell, she was an athletic events/operations intern at Harvard University for the 2006-07 season, being the on-site game administrator for men's ice hockey, baseball and volleyball, and the operations manager for the Sport Center at Chelsea Piers from January 2002 to August 2005.
Moore graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in 2001, earning her Master's Degree in sport management from West Virginia University in 2006. Â At West Virginia, she earned the Jerry P. Wilkins Minority Scholarship for Leaders.
