     Juan Torres was hired as director of football operations in March 2008. He previously worked with the UAlbany program in video operations from 2001-06. Torres handles administrative duties, travel and serves as video coordinator.
     Torres, who had been employed by the Starbucks Corporation, earned a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in mathematics from UAlbany in 2006. He studied abroad with the International Institute in Madrid, Spain as a senior. Torres attended Brentwood High School on Long Island and was a four-year member of the football squad as a wide receiver and defensive back.
