Blake Cundiff

     Blake Cundiff is in his third year as UAlbany's strength and conditioning coach, with specific responsibilities in the sports of football and basketball. He has worked on the college and professional levels for nearly two decades.
     Cundiff, who was recently the executive sports performance director at Velocity Sports Performance in Texas, served as associate director of strength and conditioning at the University of Minnesota from 2005-07. He implemented and maintained the Big Ten Conference school's individual and team strength and flexibility programs and coordinated speed training and conditioning in the off-season.
     From 1997-2000, Cundiff was assistant strength and conditioning coach for the National Football League's Dallas Cowboys. Dallas advanced to the NFL playoffs twice during his tenure. Cundiff worked at the University of North Texas from 1993-97 as assistant strength coach. He also had a two-year stint with Grapevine Mustang Football as head strength coach.
     Cundiff earned a B.S. in kinesiology with emphasis in exercise physiology and injury rehabilitation from North Texas in 1995. He also received as associate's degree in business management from Mountain View College. Cundiff is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
