Savitcheff Notches Second America East Offensive Player of the Week Award
ALBANY, N.Y. – Following an eight-point performance last Wednesday against Brown, University at Albany women’s lacrosse sophomore attack Dakotah Savitcheff earned America East Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors. This is the second time this season Savitcheff has been slated for the award.
The sophomore scored seven goals in a 15-4 rout of Brown, capping off her performance with one assist. She has 48 goals to her credit this season and is nine goals away from becoming the all-time UAlbany leader in single-season goals.
Savitcheff ranks third in the nation in goals per game (4.00), and recorded her third game of the season with five goals or more against the Bears.
