BOSTON – University at Albany men's lacrosse student-athlete Silas Richmond has been named the America East Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning. This is the second weekly award of 2026 for the Delta, B.C., native.
 
Richmond recorded seven points in UAlbany's 14-10 victory over Hobart on Saturday. The senior found the back of the net three times, adding four helpers in the win. In addition, he added a season-high five ground balls.
 
The Great Danes return to action tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday, March 10) when the team travels to Georgetown for a weekday matinee at 3:00 p.m. The team then returns to Casey Stadium this Saturday to start America East play against Bryant.
