  • The Huskies scored four unanswered goals before Mya Carroll found the back of the net to cut the deficit to 5-3 at the end of the first quarter.
  • UConn struck first in the second quarter, and Cook added her second of the day midway through to make it a 6-3 contest.
  • The Huskies added two more goals to take an 8-3 lead into halftime.
  • Out of the break, Kloey Roos scored just over a minute into the third to trim the deficit.
  • After another UConn goal, Marsell tallied back-to-back scores to bring the Great Danes within three, 9-6.
  • UConn responded with two goals to carry an 11-6 advantage into the fourth quarter.
  • Jaedyn Frink opened fourth-quarter scoring, followed by Riley Forthofer off a feed from Marsell to make it 11-8.

UP NEXT: The Great Danes will not partake in a midweek contest and will shift focus to Colgate in Hamilton, New York. UAlbany is set to face the Red Raiders at Crown Field at Andy Kerr Stadium on Saturday, March 7 at 1:00 PM.
