Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Lindsey Scores 23 Points in Men's Basketball’s Win Over Binghamton

Score: UAlbany 77, Binghamton 74 Location: Events Center | Vestal, N.Y.

Records: UAlbany (9-17, 5-6 America East), Binghamton (5-22, 1-11 America East)

Short Story: The University at Albany men's basketball team had five double-digit scorers as they overcame the Binghamton Bearcats Saturday in Vestal, N.Y.

Coach  Killings: "Today was a must-win game for us. We talked about the importance of getting the sweep and winning to climb in the standings, and I thought our seniors really stepped up. Okechukwu Okeke rose to the occasion, and Isaac Abidde battled hard despite foul trouble. Okechukwu gave us a big spark late, and Amir Lindsey was the best player on the floor, he ran our offense, hit big shots, and knocked down key free throws. It was a great win for our program. We're still alive."
