• The Danes then answered right back in the top of the third courtesy of an RBI single from Anthony Scarabino.
• Ty Morris came in to pitch for Marist in the top of the third.
• UAlbany took a commanding 5-1 lead in the top of the fifth, after Anthony Scarabino knocked in Ryan Ferremi with a single, Jared Toby scored on a Luke Filippi single, and Cooper Loyal brought in Filippi with a two-run homer.
• Cody Heselton came in to pitch for Marist with two outs in the top of the fifth.
• Christian Mello came in to pitch for UAlbany in the bottom of the fifth.
• Kai Cottle came in to pitch for Marist in the top of the sixth.
• In the bottom of the sixth Rivera hit a solo homer to make the score 5-2.

• The Danes then added two insurance runs in the top of the seventh as Luke Myers and Ryan Ferremi both hit RBI singles.
