Records: UAlbany (4-9, 0-0 America East), Stony Brook (8-4, 0-0 CAA)
Short Story: The University at Albany men's basketball team overcame an early deficit and controlled the game the rest of the way, earning a 71-55 road victory over Stony Brook on Wednesday night.
Coach Killings: "I'm really proud of our team. We came to Stony Brook knowing they were undefeated at home and were able to give them their first home loss. Our guys came out ready to go and responded the way we asked them to. We challenged a couple of our seniors, Isaac and Okechukwu, to provide more leadership, and they delivered. Okechukwu had seven blocks, Isaac controlled the boards and finished through contact, and we made key defensive plays late. Amir played extremely well, and I'm really proud of his performance, but overall it was a complete team win."

- Stony Brook opened the second half with a push to cut into the margin, trimming the lead with a pair of baskets, but UAlbany answered again. Lindsey connected on a pull-up jumper, and Matulu followed with another three to steady the game.
