Short Story: The University at Albany men's soccer team used some magic in the final minutes of Thursday's match to walk away with a 3-2 victory over Niagara University. After Niagara tied the game in the 84
th minute, an own goal put the Great Danes back ahead with just 1:30 on the clock.

How it Happened:
- The Great Danes wasted no time getting on the scoreboard with Pedro Lucas finding the back of the net in the third minute following a nice feed from Timo Jansen.
- Niagara tied the game in the 16th minute. Felix Kogler was able to send home a shot after Dominic Cintra pulled the UAlbany defenders and goalkeeper away, leaving an empty net.
- Ander Castillo nearly put the Great Danes up 2-1 in the 30th minute, but Niagara's Jamie Barry made a diving save.
- Daniel Shannon made multiple saves with time expiring in the first half to keep the game tied.
- The Great Danes recorded eight shots in the first half, six of which were on goal. Niagara took five shots, four of which were on goal.
- Niagara's Barry made another key save in the 50th minute, taking away a free kick shot from Saad Faiz. Moments later, Barry did it again by sending a shot from Mohamed Soumah over the crossbar.
- The Great Danes re-took the lead in the 72nd minute on a rocket of a shot from Timo Jansen.
- Niagara's Gerard Lopez Forner received a red card in the 73rd minute, shortly after the UAlbany goal.
- Down a man, Niagara was awarded a penalty kick for a hand ball in the 84th minute. Felix Kogler took full advantage, tying the game on a goal to the right side of the net for his second of the evening.
- In the 89th minute, Niagara's Jeremy Talsma knocked a centering pass into his net to put UAlbany back into the lead, 3-2.
