RICHMOND – Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Football has honored 713 student-athletes as members of the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the 2024 spring semester. In total, 43 members of the UAlbany football team were named to the list.
 
New in the fall, the conference is now honoring student-athletes for three different levels of achievement. Those with a 4.0 grade point average are recognized as High Honors with Distinction. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.7 and 4.0 are recognized as High Honors. Student-athletes with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.7 are recognized as Honors.
 
Nine Great Danes represented UAlbany with a High Honors distinction.
 
From the CAA as a whole, 53 student-athletes earned High Honors with Distinction, 125 achieved High Honors, and 535 received Honors.
 
Student-athletes on the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll must have attained a minimum grade point average of 3.0 during the designated academic term and been enrolled as a full-time student.
