TORONTO – Two members of the University at Albany men's lacrosse program, Teioshontathe McComber and Elijah Gash, have been selected in the 2022 National Lacrosse League Draft.
 
McComber, an attack/midfielder from Kahnawake, Canada, was picked 48th overall, the fifth pick of the third round, by the Georgia Swarm.  The Swarm later picked Gash, a defender from South Lyon, Michigan with the 62nd overall pick the fourth of the fourth round.  McComber and Gash join Lyle and Miles Thompson on the Swarm roster.
 
McComber ranked seventh on UAlbany in 2022 scoring six goals with seven assists in 11 games.  Gash scored twice and added two assists, while winning 26 ground balls.
 
McComber and Gash are the first Great Danes to be drafted to the NLL since
 
The Swarm went 9-9 last season, finishing sixth in the Eastern Conference.
