Records: UAlbany (20-21, 18-16) | UMass Lowell (17-26, 16-18)
Short Story: UAlbany's game two comeback falls just short as the Great Danes earn a Sunday doubleheader and series split with UMass Lowell.
Coach Jon Mueller: "We were able to come away with the split and head into the final weekend in first place with a big series at Maine. The guys fought back from a 6-0 deficit but came up short in the end. We made some mistakes defensively and handed out too many free passes. Overall, we are pleased with how the guys fought until the end."

- After a scoreless third inning, UAlbany responded with a three-run rally of their own in the fourth. Jason Bottari led the scoring off with an RBI single. Bottari then stole second and Brad Malm scored on the throw down to second.
- After Bottari stole third base, Josh Gurnack drove him in with a sacrifice fly and tied the game 3-3.

- Despite the UAlbany pressure in the seventh inning, UMass Lowell pitcher Henry Funaro was able to shut the door the rest of the game and seal a three inning save and 7-6 River Hawks' win.
